While analyzing your app you’ll meet two different types of analysis: Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis.

Qualitative Analysis focuses on subjective information like user behavior, emotions and experienves. It focuses on the WHY.
Quantitative Analysis describes objective inforamtion that can be expressed with numbers, graphs, charts etc. It focuses on the WHAT.

Methods to measure Qualitative and Quantitative Data

Methods to measure Qualitative Data: Usability testing, Heatmaps, Focus groups, Diary Studies, session Recording and User Feedback.

Methods to measure Quantitative Data: Web Analytics, Form Analytics, A/B Testing Click Testing.
